Barcelona Training Camp 2024

During the last week of the Summer holidays Hillingdon SC saw a team of swimmers, coaches and Team Managers travel out to Barcelona, Spain for a warm weather training camp.

The team stayed at the Hotel Bernat II with the training pool being a short walk away. Each day saw the team get through two pool training sessions, with swimmers also completing their pre and post pool routines under the guidance of the coaches.

After sessions the team were able to fully recover in no small part to the large and nutritious range of food on offer at all meal times with the excellent and conscientious staff willing to meet the varied needs of our large party. They also enjoyed quizzes and other team activities including; mini golf, bowling and a billiards competition.

Athens Training Camp 2024

During the October half term holiday a team of swimmers, coaches and Team Managers travelled to Athens for a warm weather training camp at the Loutraki Sports Camp.

The team travelled to the nearby 50m pool to undertake two pool training sessions per day, with swimmers also completing their pre and post pool routines under the guidance of the coaches.

After sessions were complete the team participated in a range of other sporting activities including; volleyball, a table tennis tournament, four square and a penalty shoot out. They also enjoyed quizzes and other team activities including Hillingdon&s Got Talent

Crete Training Camp 2025 - October Half Term
