Fantastic weekend for Team Purple Swimmers Kessock Ferry Swim for Team Purple Swimmers. Let's extend a warm congratulations to our amazing IASC swimmers Dylan, Isla, Niamh, and Madi from IASC as they dive into their University journey. Huge Congratulations to Ruairidh who has again been invited to join the Tri Scotland Academy affiliates with a 400m swim time of 4:48 and a 3000m run time of 9:24. He is just 4 points off gaining a full Academy place. He has flown to London this morning to take part in the next British Super Series event tomorrow. Good luck, amazing effort. IASC are delighted to welcome Kara Hanlon to our club on Wednesday 2nd October. Kara, a member of the Scottish National Squad Senior Team made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022 and is the first athlete from the Western Isles to be selected for the Games and it all began in a 12.5m pool! CONGRATULATIONS to Katelin and Freya who have achieved a place in this years SS/ND Junior Academy. What a huge achievement for you both. Your hard work and dedication has paid off. The program will provide 3 pool sessions where they will join other talented North District Junior Squad swimmers. The sessions will take place between September and December and will also include a blended online educational session covering important topics such as nutrition, health, and psychology in advance of each core day. IASC are proud to announce Orion Group will sponsor our first ever Mini Meet which is being held at Inverness Leisure on Saturday 26th October. The meet will take place over the 8 lane pool and is for ages 8 to 13 years old. The meet covers distances of 25m, 50, and 100m as well as relays. There will be a Cauldron of Spooky Hot Heats to add to the fun. Thanks so much to Orion Group for supporting our club and to competitive swimming in our area.

WELL DONE to the Team Purple swimmers that took part in the Scottish Summer Meet last weekend in Aberdeen as part of HST. A huge achievement getting a place at this National Event. Thanks also to anyone that volunteered at the event and to the coaches/team that were poolside with the swimmers. It was also Madi and Isla’s last competition with HST. Isla returned for one last competition after a break so it was great to see her compete and make the final. They made our club and HST proud....

Attached is the Meet Information for the Inverness Spooky Halloween Meet which is being held at Inverness Leisure on Saturday 26th October. This meet is for Age 8 to 13 and covers distances from 25m to 100m events as well as relays and Hot Heats.
