Founded in 1975, Leatherhead Swimming Club is a competitive Swimming Club, celebrating 50 years delivering Swimming Excellence in Surrey.

We are friendly, 'not for profit' members club with the LSC Committee comprised of volunteer parents. LSC has experienced rapid recent membership growth and demand for squad places and Swim Trials is correspondingly high.  

LSC was the first Surrey club to be awarded Swim 21 accreditation, delivering a progressive coaching programme from Leatherhead Swim Academy through to our National Squad. Emphasis is placed on technique, development of all-round skills and aerobic fitness.

LSC actively encourages individual and team participation in friendly inter-club competition meets and competitive licensed galas.

All of the swim training and development programme is delivered by our full time Head Coach, Stuart McCrea, supported by his expert, motivated and enthusiastic coaching team, fully in accord with the Amateur Swimming Association’s Long Term Athlete Development plan and Swim 21.

Based out of our home venue, the Leatherhead Leisure Centre, LSC also train at several venues including Downsend School, Reeds, St. John's School, St. Teresa’s School, and Long Course training at Surrey Sports Park and Aldershot Garrison.
