Great results were achieved in the London Youth Games for Croydon's Swimming and Aquathlon team on the 7/8 July at Crystal Palace The 'Minis' (Primary) swimming boys and girls teams secured overall Gold whilst the Girls Juniors/Senior combined team also took Gold and the top podium spot. The London Swimming region held their annual Open Water Championships at Surrey Quays Water Sports Centre on Saturday 30th June and two swimmers from South Croydon Swimming Club took part this year. The Championships provide a qualification route into the National Open Water Championships which are to be swum at Rother Valley Country Park, Sheffield, on 30th July.
