How to Join

Moving on from swimming lessons... Taster Sessions available monthly

Swimmers approaching the completion of Stage 6+ swimming lessons, or above, will be invited for a free taster session with our Swim Skills Squads.  Swimmers will join in a whole session, to see if they enjoy it and allow the coach to assess their suitability for the squad.

Please get in touch with our volunteer Membership Secretary to arrange your free taster by filling out our Taster Request Form.

On the day...

When you have confirmed a date, time and location for your taster please bring your swimmer dressed ready to swim with with a plastic water bottle, swim hat and goggles.  All other equipment will be provided.  Arrive a few minutes early to meet your coach and please wait for feedback at the end of the session.

The Membership Secretary will be in touch after the session to confirm a place in the squad, collect your membership details and advise you of the fees to pay.

If your swimmer isn’t quite ready to join, we will suggest a pathway to continue their swimming development, often in collaboration with local Learn-to-Swim schools. Our priority is your swimmer’s long-term success and enjoyment in the sport, with the potential to join Tewkesbury SC at a later stage.

Joining other squads...

Swimmers are welcomed into our existing squads at all levels.  If you have recently moved to the area or would like to make a return to training after a break please get in touch to arrange a free taster.
