Meet Report West District Long Course Championships 2024 – WE1 3-4 February 2024 This weekend was the first long course competition of the season with the West District Long Course Championships. This was held at East Kilbride as Tollcross is out of action currently. Long course means swimmers are racing in a pool 50m in length compared to the 25m pool that they train in. On Sunday we had our young team back in action for the second week running, this time it was for the Renfrew Baths Winter Development Meet at the On-X in Linwood. On Sunday we had a our young team of 24 swimmers headed down to The Citadel in Ayr for the South Ayrshire “Murdoch’s” Mini Meet. Bellshill Summer Meet Saturday 17th June On Saturday we had a group of swimmers across potential, age group and junior performance squads attend the Bellshill Summer Meet at the Sir Matt Busby Sports Complex. The meet provided the swimmers to swim 200m events across all 4 strokes and as well as 800m/1500m freestyle and 200m/400m IM. Stirling Summer Meet Sunday 11th June 2023 On Sunday we had 22 of our junior swimmers racing in Grangemouth for the Stirling Summer Meet.
