Repton Swimming recently featured strongly at the British Swimming Championships, the pinnacle swimming event in Great Britain. The championships were held at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield, between 4th-9th April 2023. In recent years this event has had Junior Qualifying Times, but this year it was just an open qualifying process that our young swimmers had to achieve. What a great Saturday in Coventry for our Academy, Development and JP swimmers! It was the first Long Course Competition of this season and we had lots of smiles, a little bit of nerves and great team spirit. Repton was awarded the Top Club award and each and every swimmer contributed to this success! 32 swimmers competed and between them they achieved 43 Personal Best times, 36 medals (8 Gold, 14 Silver, 14 Bronze) and fourteen 200IM Finalists with 3 of them placing first in the boys 10y age group,...

Derbyshire Junior Grand Prix Round 1 A squad of 18 Repton swimmers, representing our junior squads, competed in Alfreton for the first round of the Derbyshire Junior grand prix. Repton Swimming Coaching Appointments Repton Swimming are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Prime to the position of Repton Swimming Performance Coach. A UKCC Level 3 Senior Coach, Craig has been involved in swimming coaching for the past 15 years and is currently in his 10th year as Head Coach of Wrexham Swimming Club in North Wales. After a three year gap, this week the British Summer Championships returns and will be held in Sheffield's Ponds Forge International Centre. This event sees the top young swimmers in the country battle it out for the medals over 7 days. As well as a number of individual swimmers, we also have a high number of relay teams that will bid to establish Repton amongst Britain's top 24 clubs in both the medley and freestyle events.
