This weekend saw 21 Brixham Marlins compete in Plymouth at the very popular 'Two Counties Meet' hosted by Caradon & Dinnaton Swimming Clubs. Brixham Swimming Club had a fabulous weekend packed full of great swims, PBs, South West Regional qualifying times & lots of medals. Many officials commented that it was great to see Brixham Swimming Club back, with so many swimmers competing. A testament to how much we have achieved this year! As always, a great big thank you to all poolside helpers (officials, coaches & team managers alike)...

What a fantastic day of swimming for the 20 swimmers that took part in today's sprint gala. The gala was split over two sessions with the 8/9, 11 and 13 year olds swimming in the morning session, followed by the 10, 12 and 14 year olds in the afternoon. All ages could compete in 50m freestyle, butterfly, breastroke and backstroke, plus the 100m Individual Medley. For many of today's swimmers this was their first real gala and we are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them! There...

Congratulations to all the Brixham Marlins who competed in Sunday's Devon County Inter-Club Gala! For some of our younger swimmers, it was their first competition outside of Brixham and they rose to the challenge admirably. Some fantastic swims and PBs and, as always, great team spirit. They should be very proud of our 7th position; the Brixham Marlins held their own against some of the biggest Clubs in the County. A big thank you to Coaches, Officials & Team Managers.

Aela, John, Rebecca, Eva, Lara B, Ayla, Freya, Scarlett, Will, Austin & Frankie ( Dan sadly missing due to COVID) should be proud of their achievements & of how well they represented Brixham Swimming Club. This weekend saw Brixham swimmers competing in a range of events across two days at the Plymouth Lifecentre. The Dawlish Firecracker is a very popular gala, with clubs taking part from across the South West. We had a range of swimmers representing Brixham - some competing in their first gala at Plymouth and others who were looking to achieve Devon qualifying times. What they all had in common was their determination, resilience and team-spirit! There were some outstanding swims on both days: oodles of PBs, plenty of medals and some...

Last night saw one of the hardest fought and most exciting galas we have enjoyed in a long time! The Scott Ormsby gala is an annual gala that, last night, saw Brixham Marlins, Paignton Swimming Club and Torquay Leander compete across 49 events. Brixham Marlins and Paignton Swimming Club were neck and neck throughout the gala. Brixham took the lead when the first points count was announced. Paignton came back to even the score. The final score gave Paignton the win by a mere TWO points. SECOND PLACE FOR BRIXHAM!...

Fantastic swimming from the Brixham Marlins at tonight's William Shield gala! Every swimmer did themselves and the Club proud - some taking part in their first ever gala! It was brilliant to see you all cheering and supporting one another. A well-earned second place :-)
