Well done to both teams who raced tonight! At Pingles in the Leicestershire & Rutland ASA Winter League, we came a close 2nd place with some great racing on show. Swimmers of the Month – December Our December winners have finished the year in brilliant fashion, training and racing with maximum effort and commitment. Across the squads, we’ve seen huge improvements, standout attitudes in training, and for some, their first-ever county qualifying times which is a fantastic milestone. Lead Development Coach Jordan has been taking part in the Swim England Aquatics Coach Mentoring Programme 2025–2026, gaining valuable experience and learning alongside coaches from across the country over recent months. Coach Jordan will continue to work closely with his lead mentor John Adye, an experienced coach and coach developer with a strong background across club, regional and national pathways. Huge congratulations to all our Sharks who competed at the Home Nations Winter Championships, a fantastic achievement to race at such a high level. There were some excellent performances across the three meets, with plenty of positives to take away. A special mention to Niklas, who had a standout Swim Wales championships: Gold – 400 IM Bronze – 200 IM Bronze – Breaststroke Alongside the medals, Niklas gained valuable experience racing both heats and finals.
