Three Bourne End swimmers chose to enter the Winchester meet and were rewarded with an opportunity to set and improve times in a fabulous pool that opened in May last year. It was a busy meet, with swimmers representing over 35 clubs and universities. Hari and Zali swam confidently to set their very first long course times. Caitlin last swam a long course meet in 2019, so it was a welcome opportunity to set and improve times. Zalie Set long course times in the 100m Freestyle and 50m Breaststroke Hari...

Our coach Keiran Millard completed the Windsor triathlon last weekend over the sprint distance (750m river swim, 20km bike ride, 5km run). Keiran, who only started competing in triathlons in 2019 came 2nd in his age group and an impressive 24th out of all 456 competitors. MY OPEN WATER SWIMMING EXPERIENCE, Saturday 4th June 2022 - written by Hari Subramaniam, D2 Squad Waking up on the Jubilee weekend, but instead of the usual 7:15 swimming class, I was looking forward to a 6:45 open water swimming opportunity at Westhorpe lake. It dawned on me as we drove to the lake that it was going to be freezing. Not only had my dad woken me up early to swim, he was bringing me to a freezing cold lake in the tranquil but frosty twilight. The night before...

These lovely people gave up their time to help officiate at the 1st Chiltern League gala last Saturday evening. Thank you Glenn, Keiran, Chris, Graham and Helen. Also a big thank you to the parents of one of our younger swimmers, Mr & Mrs Rahalkar, who drove to Banbury to assist poolside. They enjoyed a brilliant view of the swimming while helping to ensure results were collated accurately. In every respect, it is volunteers who make our club work. If you would like to get involved, please speak to any...
