Welcome to Fareham Nomads Swimming Club

Fareham Nomads Swimming Club was formed in 1974 in the days before Fareham had its own public swimming pool.

Inspired by the lack of a home pool, the club took its name from its ‘nomadic’ existence, using various pools throughout the area for training until 1980 when Fareham Leisure Centre was first opened.

Since then, the club has grown considerably and has had a membership of as many as 250 children and young adults. We currently have just over 200 swimmers, but are always looking to increase that number.
