Fareham Nomads Open Meets
Fareham Nomads currently host two open meets every year:
- Valentine Meet (February)
- This long-standing Nomads event is a full two-day Level 3 meet covering all strokes and distances, up to and including the 400m Freestyle and IM events
- Tortoise & Hare (November)
- This is a new one-day Level 3 event and is effectively a sprint meet ("the Hare") plus 400m Freestyle and IM ("the Tortoise")
All Nomads meets are held at the Horizon Leisure Centre in Waterlooville and include Hot Heats and cheesy disco tunes during the breaks. Congas are not mandatory...
