  My son and daughter both swim in squads at CoStA. After taking a lead on organising some of our residential camps and announcing at our meets, I took on the Chair role in July 2025. I'm often on the balcony at WML and SAS and always happy to chat.

Vice Chair - Jo Nelson ([email protected]). Voting member

 My eldest son joined CoStA in 2022, my younger son now also swims at the club and my husband is part of CoStA Masters. I began volunteering in the role of membership secretary which I really enjoyed. I took on the role of Vice-Chair in summer 2024 as I was keen to become more involved. I love the ethos of the club and I am passionate about its long-term success.

  My daughter started swimming at CoStA in 2024. 

Secretary - David Orr ([email protected]). Voting member

  My daughter joined CoStA in late 2022, my son recently started pre-club…and I really should get around to joining Masters! I love the way CoStA fosters a friendly, inclusive, community while also giving swimmers the chance to perform at very high levels. I’ve been officiating for some years now, and became Secretary in 2025. Always happy to chat so just reach out!

 Kevin is a member of the St Albans Masters Swimming Club (STAM) committee which look after the needs of the CoStA Masters. When Kevin moved to Harpenden a few years ago he joined CoStA and now his children are making their way through the club. Although Kevin has competed at a national and inter-national level, he believes that swimming should be for everyone and work hard to support a masters set up, providing for as wide a range of swim abilities, aims and intentions, with a big leaning towards the social side.
