Training
| Junior 2 | |

| Age | 8-10 (Typically Year 5 at school). Maximum age 11 (or the end of Year 6) |
| Focus | Swimmers will develop their aerobic capacity while maintaining their existing skills. This will be accompanied by increasing levels of individualized and race specific technique development. |
| Entry | From Junior-1 |
| Training Sessions | 3 PM & 2 AM sessions per week plus 1 PM invitational session (Coach discretion) |
| Attendance | Recommended three times per week |
| Exit | To Development Squad when swimmers demonstrate good attitude to learning, technique and aerobic capacity. |

Kit Requirements
Mandatory for training sessions are
- Drink - bottle with water
- Kickboard - Example: MARU Kickboard, with handles
- Pull Buoy - Example: MARU Junior Pullbuoy
- Short Fins - Example: MARU Rubber Short Fins
- Snorkel - Example: Finis Junior Front Snorkel
Please ensure that all kit is named with a permanent marker.
